Last Friday we had our first “dating game” show on our live Google Hangouts. Five beautiful and quality women got a chance to meet and greet with my friend, Wes Murphy, who also has a You Tube channel.
It didn’t take long before someone in the comments section came in to say this…
What I find utterly ironic is that this man probably has no problem at all seeing black women on television utterly degrade themselves for the approval and gaze of black men, but a simple, friendly conversation, in which no one was begging, no one had to perform circus tricks, suggest their prowess in cooking, cleaning, and sexing a boyfriend like a wife apparently comes off as “thirsty” to him. Shall I remind him how entitled and asshole-y single black men sound on television? Let’s compare these behaviors to Wes’, and then perhaps this man would have a better idea of why I’m no longer willing to sell my sisters snake oil in the form of “black love.” What I’m promoting is simply…LOVE.

In most of the black community, it is TOTALLY acceptable to chase a-holes like this, but me showing and facilitating another way for black women to find love and happiness? Oh no….
Anyone else shocked/not shocked? LOL…
Oh, and the saga continues. White guy calls this guy on his hypocrisy…
Then this “good brutha” shows his true colors…
But white guy pretty much sums up everything in his response…
