I’m so happy to announce two couples that got together this Valentine’s Day due to our AWESOMELY POSITIVE Beyond Black & White Google Plus page. Meet Kemi and Michael, who met on the platform as you already know. Michael plans to move to St. Louis to be close to Kemi, and we’ll also see them in Las Vegas at our Hangover event in July!

And then meet Kim and Chris, who were each other’s dates for Valentine’s Day…

So why is this group working while others often devolve into negativity and chaos? Well…I’m not sure. I think a big part of it is that the group is closed and private, and I’m very slow about allowing new people in. In any case, I love that in through the forum, the G+ community, and live hangouts, we’re making real connections with positive people.

Of course, you can’t depend on just one way of meeting someone. The trick is to cast as wide a net as possible. There is no one magic bullet that works for everyone, but when Cupid hits his target, it’s a beautiful thing!!
