They fought for the right to be married all the way up to the Supreme Court, and paved the way for legal interracial marriage throughout the United States.
On the heels of the award-winning documentary, The Loving Story, actor Colin Firth produced Loving, a Focus Features Film. According to the Hollywood Reporter: Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga play the couple behind the seminal 1967 civil rights case Loving vs. Virginia. Michael Shannon and Nick Kroll also star in the pic, which was written and directed by acclaimed indie filmmaker Jeff Nichols.
Release of the film is set for November 2016.
