For those of you not in the know, a former shamed Virginia delegate and lawyer named Joe Morrissey (59) was caught in a sexual relationship with his 17-year-old former black secretary. After it was discovered that Morrissey was having sex with this GIRL, ostensibly with the APPROVAL of her MOTHER, and took nude pictures that he PASSED ON TO FRIENDS, he did three months hard time for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. After bearing two of his children, Morrissey married Myrna Pride June 11, 2016. This is Morrissey’s FIRST marriage at a geriatric 59!!, but has five kids by FOUR DIFFERENT WOMEN. He’s now running for mayor of Richmond, Virginia.

According to his Wikipedia page, his professional life is just as messy:

On December 21, 2001, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Morrissey was disbarred and on April 25, 2003, his license to practice law was revoked by the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board.^[2]

“Frequent episodes of unethical, contumacious, or otherwise inappropriate conduct mar Joseph D. Morrissey’s career as prosecutor and private defense attorney,” the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit noted in September 2002. The court said, “Evidence … demonstrates Morrissey’s 15-year history of contempt citations, reprimands, fines, suspensions, and even incarcerations arising from unprofessional conduct mostly involving an uncontrollable temper, inappropriate responses to stress and dishonesty.”^[6][12]

So let’s sum this up. Morrissey has done the following:

• Had five kids by four different women.
• Takes advantage of impressionable teenaged girls, takes pornographic photos and passes them on to his friends.
• He was disbarred in 2003 because he was a dirty lawyer.

So…we know aaaallll this stuff about Joe Morrissey, right? So is anyone surprised that he’s now embroiled in yet ANOTHER scandal in which he’s been accused of exposing himself and sexually propositioning one of his clients? I’m not, but Morrissey’s child bride seems a little overwhelmed, judging by this clip of the world’s weirdest press conference:

This man is a reprobate. And all the information out there displayed WHO HE WAS, and Myrna failed to see that the best predictor for future behavior is past behavior because she is a “silly girl” who’s watched too many Disney princess movies. And her MOTHER is just as DISGUSTING for covering for this narcissistic sex addict, probably because she thought it would be a nice come up for her and her daughter. As Breukelen Bleu would say, this mother put her own daughter up for the sacrifice by encouraging this relationship and ignoring the fact that she basically gave her CHILD to a half-century old man to have his way. When other girls are finishing hight school and thinking about college, this OLD ASS MAN has shackled her with two children and completely dependent on a “man” who can’t keep control of his penis for any extended period of time.

Myrna is a silly girl, who had absolutely no decent adult around to advise her. It also looks like her attraction to Joe was due in part to having an abusive father. She’s too young to shoulder the blame for this. But nonetheless there’s a lesson to be learned here. The “Silly Girl” often believes that she can be the “special one” to change the behavior of a cad, and dismiss all evidence that a man’s past behavior makes him  a bad bet for the future. It’s important to find out as much information as possible about a potential partner without sounding like an interrogator and BEFORE you fall in love. I honestly believe that a simple background check costing $20 is a better investment than a potential lifetime of misery.
