We were riding in the car on a semi-long road trip, Maxi-Me was so frazzled because I asked her to keep an eye on the kids (basically make sure they don’t die or kill each other) while I got some work done. She tell me, “This morning has taught me that I NEVER want to have kids!”

The Adele came on, and we heard this sweet little voice coming from the back seat. She was singing this:

In an instant, Maxi-Me’s heart melted. “Now I see why you have kids. For those little slivers of joy.”

I said, “Yes! Exactly!”

“But I still don’t want them.”
