Beyond Black & White is the first blog to feature the wandering escapades in Europe chronicled from Fleace Weaver, founder of Black Girl Travel (BGT). The company has been getting a lot of attention lately from the press, and for good reason. It’s the only travel club catering to black women discovering themselves and taking in an international experience separate for the often-times oppressive confines of being a black woman in America. Although they are legend for their European tours, Fleace’s group hosts tours throughout the world. They recently came from a tour to South Africa.

I’ve know Fleace for a couple years, and I have not found a more professional and conscientious tour leader, who always, always keeps the pleasure and well being of her group at the top of her mind. I just love reading about her travels and adventures on her Facebook page and watching videos like this…

Lawd…if this existed before I got married and had all these kids…Anyway, my time has passed, but it not to late for you single girls. From time to time, Fleace will report in with us during her travels, and give us some live video, lots of photos and tips on traveling.
