As Blackistan continues to be in denial that colorism exists, I give you Exhibit A to the contrary. A flyer, “Light Skinned vs. Dark Skin,” with a note on the back that light skinned chicks get in free until 12 AM. Honestly stuff like this only elicits a chuckle and a shake of the head from me, because I, like many other black women who have moved on from begging for affirmation of our worth from our own people, are content to let the ferals eat each other.
