I’m an Urban Decay stan for good reason: They have some of the BEST formulas for eyes shadows, eye pencils, primers, and on and on. This holiday season UD has come out with several palettes, and all of them are amazing. I’ll reveal a new one each week. In the above photo I’m wearing “Shattered Face Case,” which includes a set of complimentary eye shadows, a 24/7 eyeliner, lip pencil, two shades of blush and a highlighter. It’s an entire makeup look all in one case, which makes it amazing for travel. I’ll be taking this bad boy to Atlanta with me next month for the Blogalicious conference and the premiere of My Last Day Without You (more on this later).

The stand outs of course are the shadows. But be sure to use a primer so you can really make those colors pop against darker brown skin or else these shades might just look like varied shades of white. The blush is PERFECT. Just PERFECT. Be light with the lipstick if you’re my shade of brown. Tap it along the lips and build up on it rather than slide it. Too much of this color will look chalky otherwise.
