Although the temperatures are bit on the high side and it seems a bit premature to pull out our jackets and scarves, the calendar lets us know that the time is drawing near. I love fall because of the brilliant and beautiful colors that the leaves change during this time. I also love pumpkin scented candles but that’s for another post. I hope you ladies try some new things and aim to look your best no matter what the season is. Here are a few cute items that will help you pull together some super-cute fall looks.
Essie 2014 Fall Collection Nail Polish: Will you be bold enough to try “Dress To Kilt,” (vibrant cranberry) or “Style Cartel,” (navy blue)? The light gray color “Take It Outside,” and brown “Partner In Crime,” are more subtle colors but are still very sleek and chic for fall!
Ladies Joggers: When I laid my eyes on these, I immediately fell in love. You mean to tell me they’ve found a way that you can wear jogging pants in public, and fashionably at that? I’d say get some joggers in an interesting color or print and pair with a plain top and some really cute sandals (if it’s warm enough) or cute boots when it gets a little chillier. The joggers pictured above were found at ASOS, you can also find them at H&M or even Old Navy. Many brands carry ladies joggers. Oh and oooo! Check out this acid washed joggers by SOHO Girl!
Statement Necklaces: I don’t know too many accessories that immediately dress up an outfit and you can find really cute ones at a variety of price points. A great place to look for an original piece is Etsy, also retailers like Nordstrom and websites like Baublebar carry beautiful statement necklaces that are major eye candy. Imagine how this electric blue bib necklace and matching earrings by nicerocker will look against brown skin? “The men all pause…”
Pleated Skirts: Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Is it just me or do long skirts make you think of being prim and proper, like Mary Poppins? Nope. Well maybe it’s just me. These skirts are undeniably feminine and dainty. When they are paired with a fitted top, it creates a wonderful silhouette. Great places to look for pleated skirts are Zara, Madewell and H&M.
Denim + Floral Combo: Of all the trends, this my favorite. Pairing a denim shirt with a floral skirt or even floral pant is simple and fashionable. The addition of a bright colored scarf makes this outfit complete. Macy’s and Nordstrom have a gorgeous variety of floral skirts and Old Navy carries a variety of denim and chambray shirts.
Are you looking forward to the change of seasons and trying out new trends for fall?
