Party Season is here and its time to flex your makeup skills or at least the little bit that you know! I want to help you take take 2 everyday simple makeup looks and turn them into Party Looks for the Night time in less than 10 minutes. Perfect for the After Work Parties that will be spurring up around the holidays!
Day Look 1: Single Cat Eye
I love a fierce Cat Eye for an everyday look! Quick and simple and you are out the door!
Night Look 1: Double Cat Eyes
The Double winged cat eyes is the new it thing so I thought it would be fun…since its the holidays of course, to add a bit of sparkle! This Glitter Liquid Eyeliner from Elizabeth Mott for only $18 has silver glitter already in it…how cool is that!
How To: Create a cat eye on the bottom lid and darken the waterline with a black pencil liner for a dramatic effect! Add red matte lipstick and you are on your way to dance the night away ladies!
Day Look 2: The No Makeup Look
Some of us ladies don’t have time to put on a face full of makeup in the morning but can at least put on some foundation and concealer…you are on the right track!
Night Look 2: Smokey Eyes and Natural Lips
For the evening time lets spice up that “No Makeup” using a 3 eye-shadow palette like the one from NYX called Love in Rio Palette! These palettes have the right colors for every skin color and for every occassion!
How To: Bronze up your lids and smoke it out with a black matte eye-shadow for a smokey eye look that takes less than 10 minutes to do…but remember BLEND!!! Highlight the brow bone with a light champagne shimmery color for a lifting effect for your eyes! You can go with a bolder lipstick or a natural lip color. I chose a mauve lipstick for a subtle look instead of the classic red! Mauves are gorgeous on darker skin tones 😉
So there you go two looks you can take from day to night and you can seriously have these makeup products in your purse ready to do it up in the rear-view mirror of your car 😉
