Remember this video a while back?
Well guess what? She took the advice and got out there and take a look at what her life is looking like!
I just wanted to give you an update. I’m still single but I’m happy. I’ve opened up to dating men of all ethnicities. I signed up with IDC and another dating site. I must say, it feels really good to see men of other ethnicities message/flirt with me. The compliments I receive about my skin, lips and hair is just unbelievable at times. It feels good. You were right. Having one child does not make me undateable. I’ve gone out on dates with men who were White, Asian and Latino. All have been true gentlemen. The compliments, appreciation and positive treatment is a breath of fresh air. After dating men of other ethnicities, I realize, I don’t want to be part of “the Black struggle” anymore. I want a man who has his life in order. Is that a bad thing?
Thank you for helping get out of my comfort zone and get comfortable with dating again.

Of course it’s not a bad thing to not want to be part of the “black struggle!” Girl…keep your kid the priority, be careful and vet throughly once you get into a serious relationship and want to introduce the child, and a GOOD man with GOOD character who will love and cherish you, and I’m even more certain that you are close. Very close.
Congratulations!
