Here’s my favorites this season:
OKAY Pure Naturals Black Jamaican Castor Oil With Lavender ($12.00): I used this product for the style above. Castor oil has an interesting effect on my hair–it moisturizes and appears to “plump” my strands so it feels thicker, and the softness doesn’t feel greasy. It sort of makes my hair feel pillowy. The lavender smell is a plus, and lightly scents the hair, especially after a fresh wash.
Hydratherma Naturals Daily Moisturizing Growth Lotion ($19.99): I tell you, I’m really loving this company. Good products–a bit on the pricey side, but the owners (whom I’ve spoken to) are committed to providing the best formulations for naturals.
