Hustling Like a Jamaican!

So today Janice and I were at the Los Angeles Times book festival today passing these out…

"Swirling post cards, with a Hersey's hug"

We gave out our postcards along with some “hugs” to lots and lots of couples who look like this…

Martine and Marco--they giggled when we gave them the cards...Marco LOL'd...

Saw a celebrity or two…

The famous and fabu Ricky Lake

and…

Chip Yost, KTLA reporter and his CUUUTE little daughter! (He's a swirler!)

Had some greasy burger’s at Tommy’s…

Janice got her flirt on with the dudes at 790 KABC…

And the highlight of my day, meeting Rebecca Walker (Alice Walker’s daughter), author of “Black Cool One Thousand Streams of Blackness

Oh! And I got to meet one of the people I interviewed for the book, Erin Aubrey Caplan, contributing editor for the Los Angeles Times and interracially married before it was “cool”…

So for all my L.A. peeps ya’ll need to come see me and help me pass out the 300+ postcards we have left, dammit. To check out where we’ll be today, click here.
