Now for the gifts for the true kids on your list, not the mini adults. I just went on an odessey at Toys R’ Us, and all I can say is I’m lucky to be alive. But while I was there I took some notes on what’s hot.

Lego Nijago

The Boy is absolutely obsessed with Legos. They’re all over the house and I’ve stabbed my feet more than once on those tiny pieces. But you won’t have to worry about that, because you’ll just give the gift and hightail it out of there. Ninjago is a whole separate beast though, because it’s got it’s own show on the Cartoon Network and there’s collectable cards and figures.

La La Loopsy

This brand takes up an entire aisle, so…somebody’s buying it. Here’s their angle: “The Lalaloopsy Dolls were once rag dolls who magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn.
