You might remember Shaun Brown, a big fan of the blog who is also a staunch Christian and conservative. I only mention that because there’s often a presupposition that if a non-black man has those qualities, he’s using the Bible to justify slavery or something and would never make you his Mrs. I’ve mentioned several times on this blog and in my book that many, MANY conservative non-black men date and marry black women; contrary to what you might think, hipsters are sometimes the bigger bigots.

Shaun met his bride, Victoria through church. While they shared common values, the issue of Shaun’s race did concern Victoria’s family for a time. Obviously they’ve gotten over it.

And without further ado, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Brown!
