The holidays are a really popular time for couples to get engaged. Something about the prospect of spending yet another Christmas eve or Hanukkah with extended family but sans your own personal family makes people want to pop the question–or maybe it’s just imbibing of too much eggnog. Whatever. The holidays have past and love was definitely in the air!

I just read a post by one of my favorite travel bloggers, and friend of Beyond Black and White, Oneika the Traveller where she announces that her longtime boyfriend “Liebling” popped the questionover the holidays while they were vising his family in Berlin!
