I love purple…it’s my favorite color. Unfortunately, certain undertones in purple cosmetics don’t work for me. Sometimes they’re too blue or too red, which doesn’t work well for my yellow undertones. However, I’ve found that pigments with yellow or gold undertones work well…and that goes for virtually any color. Know your undertones, know which colors will help you look fantastic.
The Lips
This gives a POW of pigment, so much so that I don’t need a liner. I outlined my lips with this color deeply and went a little lighter towards the middle of my lip.
Then I dotted the center with OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS Creme Color Concentrate in TRUE GOLD. I just lightly dabbed the creme with my fingers and pressed it at the fullest part of my bottom lip and up on the cupid’s bow of my upper lip.
I’ll be using this creme again for my eye makeup.
The Eyes
I’m wearing Stillazzi Pearl Eye Shadow, PS11. And what a deal…it’s only $3.50! I went in light at the corners of my eyes nearest my nose and went deeper along the crease and orbital, and finished it with the OCC Cream Concentrate right along the tear duct to give my eyes some extra sparkle and give the appearance of the ever-popular wide eyed look. Use the smallest and thinnest brush you can find to get this look. Outline the outside or your eye with the gold and fill in the inside with a black liner.
This look is guaranteed to turn heads!
