October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the official color…PINK! My mother is a breast cancer survivor so this and next month (Diabetes Awareness Month) hold a prominent place in my mind, because my mother had the former and still suffers with the later. If you’ve ever wondered why I’m a diet and fitness fanatic, that right there should explain a lot for you. In tribute to Pink Month I’ve decided to do seven days of pink lips, seven different shades. Today I’m wearing a sheer shade from Lancomé, ‘Lingerie Pink,’ which apparently isn’t made anymore. It’s been years since I’ve visited the Lancomé counter, I see that they’re making some not-too-shabby sheers, which is great for darker hued women like myself.
Lancomé ‘Lingerie Pink’
Try any of the shades in their L’ABSOLU NU Replenishing & Enhancing Lipcolor – Bare-Lip Sensation. Pale Petal and Rose Veil gives a nice sheer pink that leaves your lips looking smooth and full. I’m not crazy about the price ($30) but Lancome lipsticks last about 100 years. Better yet, get a tube of “Juicy Tubes,” which is almost half the price with double the shimmer. My lips LURVE these, and they have staying power and don’t feel sticky or tacky. Here’s the shades… While writing this post I saw the Lancomé is having a sale, 10% off every purchase. Coupon code: LRFT-CD7I-SNA3-W5SE I only have enough pinks for five days, so I need your help–tell me your favorite pink shade (make and model) and I’ll go check it out!
