Fri Forjindam is the brainchild behind what’s probably the most beau-ti-ful wedding magazine I’ve ever seen. Since its founding in 2009, Wedding Nouveau has become the leading bridal resource for intercultural, interfaith and multi-ethnic couples. By collaborating with photographers, designers and innovative thinkers around the world, the publication strives to inspire and empower modern couples as they embark on new landmarks.
Fri is a native of Cameroon, West Africa, and graduated with an MFA in theater from Columbia University. Prior to founding the magazine, she did work as a theatre artist, creative show writer and event coordinator in entertainment, theme park design and multimedia.
Fri is a NNBW woman because she’s instrumental in celebrating the mergers of colors and cultures. She makes it possible for brides and grooms to envision and create events that gives homage and respect their lineage, which no doubt makes future mother-in-laws happy all over America.
Absolutely, positively stunning.
Kudos Fri, for making the world a smaller, friendlier place.
