Don’t you find it interesting how invested some people are in delineating and categorizing biracials or people claiming to be more than one race?

I got such a note from a troll who was “concerned” about how my children will identify themselves. They want my kids to “pick a side,” or perhaps adhere to the racist one-drop rule.

People on both sides (white racists and black nationalists) will have to come to terms that the new crop of children will grow into adults who won’t be invested in these silly, outdated notions.

I find it sad that black folks seem to be the most invested in keeping “separate tribes,” but to what benefit?
