It’s been a while since I sang the praises of Shabby Apple, a collection of vintage dresses that puts the sexy in classy. I love the look of the 1940s, and think black women wore the heck out of it.

I’m wearing the Bronwyn Dress, ($88) a blue and black fit-and-flare made of soft, stretchable knit. It’s so comfortable that I stayed in it all day, and took a little inspiration from our very own WorkingHomeKeeper and decided to dress like this to go grocery shopping. OMGORSH…she was so right…I got stopped about four times by different men who told me how much they loved my look and one even threatened to leave his wife! LOL…I’m not kidding.

I love that my hair is long enough to style like this, and it was PERFECT.
