I got this note from someone who reached out to me on Facebook. Here goes:

I’m a white male and I’ve been dating a black female for four months. I have only dated black women for the past twelve years and my family is rather diverse and doesn’t discriminate, her on the other had has never dated outside her race and her family doesn’t like white people or they tolerate them. My point I’m getting to is I’ve falling in love with her but I feel neglected emotionally and physically. I’ve talked to her about this and her reply was she really likes me but she has never been attracted to a white person before and to be patient with her. Am I waiting on a person that I shouldn’t be?
