Ever since someone on this blog gave me the link to Pinup Girl Clothing, I have been in absolute love. The cut and quality; the style that makes me feel like the classiest, sexiest woman in the room. It’s a throwback of an era I’ve always been fascinated by…long, skinny cigarettes, jazz, cocktail parties, Audrey Hepburn. I truly believe that the styles of the 1940-1960’s was the golden era for women’s style, and as such, will never go out of style.
While I love so much of what’s on Pinup Girl, I find that many of my purchases favor the Laura Byrnes line, because of the designer’s obvious understanding of what makes the female form so alluring. The dresses also provide internal support through lining and figure-cinching fabrics.
Alas, the dress I’m wearing was released as part of the Spring 2014 line and is no longer available. However, the “spirit” of this style can be found in this season’s offerings as well.
